Description
This shea butter refined bulk is a completely natural product, lightly processed to remove the natural odor and color present in raw shea butter. The result is a smooth white or off-white butter with no chemical residue, as no solvents or bleaches are used at any stage of the refinement process.
During refinement, the shea butter is thoroughly washed to remove debris, then gently bleached without the use of chemicals to eliminate its natural color. It is mechanically filtered and deodorized to take out any remaining particles and the characteristic shea scent. Most of the original fatty acids and lipids remain intact, so it performs much like unrefined shea butter. For certain uses, including scented or tinted formulations or for those who prefer unscented options, shea butter refined bulk is often the better choice.
Our shea butter is sourced from the nuts of the Shea Tree (Vitellaria Paradoxa) in Ghana, Africa. Known as the “Tree of Life,” the shea tree has been valued for generations for its ability to support skin, hair, and overall wellness. Shea butter is often referred to as “Mother Nature’s Conditioner” for its deeply moisturizing and softening properties.
This butter is especially helpful in soothing mature skin and skin exposed to environmental stress.
Shea butter refined bulk is made from shea nuts. If you have a nut allergy, we recommend exploring one of our alternative cosmetic butters.

Melt a pea size amount of the butter between your hands and apply to your face or body. You may also mix this into homemade skin and hair care products.
In addition, you can use Shea Butter as a scalp treatment to moisturize the scalp and stimulate hair growth. It can also be used as a hair serum to tame frizzy hair and lock in moisture. For scalp: ensure scalp is damp, then melt a small amount of shea butter in your hands, and massage into the scalp. For a serum, dampen the hair, then melt a small amount of shea butter in your hands and scrunch it into or run it over your hair.
When not in use store Shea Butter sealed in its original packaging, or in a container such as a jar with a lid. Keep in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. If temperatures are above 75 degrees Fahrenheit, store in the fridge.
